At Karter Electronics we have experience in a wide area of Electronic Design, from small one off designs to large systems, integrating several different designs. We have in house printed circuit, schematic capture mechanical drafting, software development and Prototype / Production facilities. There is also our design archive library which is constantly updated and contains sample software, circuit diagrams etc. You may wish to just send an enquiry which will receive our prompt attention.
*Schematic Capture/Circuit Design* We have extensive experience in circuit design from simple analog to complex digital microprocessor circuits, we can handle schematic files in variety of formats, orcad, protel, DXF etc and produce professional documantation. The diagram opposite is the logic section of a radio system controller, which was designed for the Kuwait Fire Department National radio network.
				*Printed Circuit Board Design* Karter Electronics have produced pcb designs, from small single sided to large double sided boards using smd and conventional technologies. We can supply photoplotted artwork and also offer a board sourcing and assembly/manufacture service should you require it., We mainly use Protel and Orcad for Schematic and PCB Design
Additionally we can also offer a recovery service for pcb's for which the artworks are no longer available, we can reproduce the pcb layout as new plot files, Protel format, or Autocad DWG/DXF, we can also reproduce the circuit diagrams from just a bare board.
Mechanical Drafting Every piece of equipment or product generally has some form of housing or mechanical components associated with it. Karter Electronics use Autocad™ the industry standard mechanical drawing package for all mechanical drawings, although we can import and export to other software packages. The drawing opposite was part of an assembly drawing for a pharmacutical pump.
			Software/Embedded Designs
			All types of product use micro controllers and embedded software today, Karter Electronics have experience in embedded designs using 8031/51, ST6/7, PIC microcontrollers, NEC V25 series, as well as older micro processors such as the 6500/Z80 series.
We also have software experience using C, Visual Basic and Assembly langauge and have written stand alone PC applications for windows 3.11/95/NT, MS-DOS, Linux.
Production Facilities Karter Electronics can also offer small to medium scale production work, in association with a partner company Avin Electronics.
		Avin is an ISO 9001 company with large pcb assembly facility. Avin can assemble conventional, and smd pcb's and also offer complete product assembly right down to the box and labelling! For sub-contract production enquiries, click here Contact Avin Electronics
